The Géoclip application created by the Sipa - Ouest-France group's R&D department is only available to collaborators on the intranet. It makes accessible a very rich database, with several hundred indicators. The expectations of Ouest-France towards this tool is to have an internal geomarketing tool.
Developed four years ago with Géoclip O3, the application has just evolved to Géoclip Air. Users will find the same wealth of information, both statistical and geographical, from a modernised interface, with improved ergonomics. The statistical data describe the press group's own activity, the press activity in general and the overall socio-economic context. The range of geographical data is also very wide: points of sale, irises, municipalities, distribution sectors, etc.
