The French Evaluation, Forecasting and Performance Department (DEPP) “is at the same time a department of the Ministry of National Education and the ministerial statistical service in charge of statistics on education”.

The DEPP has its own geostatistical observatory, available only internally, to enhance, restitute and disseminate statistical data and geolocalized indicators related to the management and the analysis of the French education system: characteristics of school establishments, human and material resources, educational pathways and results, etc.
